Desiree T. Washington believes that Los Angeles County can do better to address the concerns of our residents. It must reduce pollution and traffic congestion. It must insure equal pay and equal opportunities for women. It must ensure the overall independent contractor and consumer experience in our vibrant gig economies, from rideshare drivers to temporary contract hires in offices and factories.
